About 99 Names of Allah:
There are "99 Names of Allah" (in Arabic: "Asma-ul Husnaa" = The Excellent Names) each of which evoke a distinct attribute of Allah. All these names refer to Allah, the supreme and all-comprehensive divine name. "Asma-ul Husnaa" have a very special significance. Because Firstly Allah says:
وَللَّهِ ٱلأَسْمَآءُ ٱلْحُسْنَىٰ فَٱدْعُوهُ بِهَا
“And to Allah belong the most beautiful names, so invoke by them”.
Secondly, Abu Huraira reported Allah's Apostle as saying, "Allah, the Most High, has ninety-nine names. He who retains them in his memory will enter paradise....”
001: Ar-Rahmaan
Meaning
THE BENEFICENT, THE COMPASSIONATE
• He who gives blessings and prosperity to all beings without showing disparity.
• The One who has plenty of mercy for the believers and the blasphemers in this world and especially for the believers in the hereafter.

هُوَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِى لاَ إِلَـٰهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ عَالِمُ ٱلْغَيْبِ وَٱلشَّهَادَةِ هُوَ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ
He is Allah, than Whom there is no other Allah, the Knower of the Invisible and the Visible. He is THE BENEFICENT, Merciful. (59:22)

THE MERCIFUL
• He who
gives blessings and prosperity, particularly to those who use the Divine gifts
as Allah has directed; and He is merciful to believers in the hereafter too.

إِلَى ٱلنُّورِ وَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ بِكُمْ لَرَءُوفٌ رَّحِيمٌ
He is the One Who sends down upon His slave clear
Verses that He may bring you out from the darkness into light. And indeed, Allah
is Most Kind and Most MERCIFUL to you. (57:9)
003: Al-Malik
Meaning
THE ETERNAL LORD
• He
who is the Absolute Ruler of the entire Universe.
• The One with the complete Dominion, the One Whose
Dominion is clear from imperfection.

فَتَعَالَى
ٱللَّهُ ٱلْمَلِكُ ٱلْحَقُّ لاَ إِلَـٰهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ رَبُّ ٱلْعَرْشِ ٱلْكَرِيمِ
Now Allah be Exalted THE TRUE KING!
There is no God save Him, the Lord of the Throne of Grace.
